  Notes	Marion Star, Marion Ohio Wednesday Sep 9, 1953 Obituary John Leuthold BUCYRUS-John Leuthold 82, retired farmer of Bucyrus, died at 11:50 PM Tuesday at home. He was ill several years. Born March 25, 1871, in Switzerland, he was the son of Christian and Catheryne Knote Leuthold, and came to this country at the age of 13. March 11 1903, he married Annie Spring. Before coming to Bucyrus 10 years ago, he farmed Southwest of here. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and of Bucyrus Grange. Surviving are his widow, and children, Arthur and Oscar, both of Bucyrus township, Russell of Fayette, Reuben of Wheaton, ILL., Mrs. Esther Butchko of Lakeside, and Mrs. Ruth Deutsch of Republic, 15 grandchildren, and brother and sisters, Godfrey Leuthold of near Bucyrus, and Mrs. Rose Welty, and Miss. Louisa Leuthold, both of Bucyrus. 4 brothers and a sister proceeded him in death. FUneral services will be conducted Friday at 2 PM in the Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Joseph Nielson will officate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wise Funeral Home Thursday night.
