    Just as we thought, these are my great great uncles!
    Ernest's B-day matches the one found in the German
    birth records! And they both had the same mother and
    father. Johannes Friedrich Schwald & Maria Magdalena
    (Pfunder) Schwald as shown on my web site. Thanks so
    much for your help!
    Now all I have to do is to try and find some of
    Annie's family.

    Edgar P. Schwald
    CLINTON - Edgar P. Schwald, 74, OF 10 Mulberry St.. a
    self-employed electrician in the Clinton and Utica areas for
    many years, died Thursday. Sept. 26, 1985, in St. Luke's
    Memorial Hospital Center. New Hartford, after being
    stricken at work.
    Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dec. 6, 1910. he was the son of Karl
    and Philipine Schwald. In Utica, July 3, 1937, he married
    Margaret (Peg) McLean. She died April 23, 1968. On July 30,
    1978, in Chataham, he married Irma Seaman Wood. She Died
    Sept. 13, 1983 * which was not in the Rome Sentinel
    Mr. Schwald had worked for a few years at Kelsey-Hates
    Co. Utica. He was a Protestant and was a member of the
    Clinton Historical Society. Stanwix Men's Club and IOOB
    U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla No. 2-6, Ilion Fish and
    Game Club. Utica Elks and National Historical Railroad
    Society, Utica. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge
    and the fire department and was a charter member of the Fur
    Fin and Feather Club, Utica.
    Surviving are several nieces and nephews
    The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Owens Funeral
    Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland
    Calling hours will be Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The family
    suggests contributions may be made to the Central Oneida
    County Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
